I'm pretty happy I was thinking i wouldn't see the thing for about a month after reading this thread XD
I even recommened to Alex that a live chat feature should be added to the site and he said it was something he had been thinking about. That would be able to help everyone
That is great news...Really good to see a retailer provide good customer service.

Do they use Royal mail or courier company ?
If Royal Mail - call AWD now. Get a satisfactory answer. i.e. Where is it ? What company ? What shipping details ? If it's a courier, look on website and check for tracking details.

If no show by 5pm.... call bank and cancel transaction. OK ?

I'm not sure. I payed for Royal Mail 1st class so i just assumed it would be with the postman or a delivery van but it hasn't showed up. I'll give them until tomorrow. If its not here i'll cancel it.

Check for those little cards in the mailbox. The card+box may be too big and you have to go get it from the PO.

Re: Anyone used AWD-IT (HDMI Ltd) shop on Ebay?

Well its still a no show today, I talked to Alex again and imediatly afterwards i got an e-mail from AWD-IT with a tracking number, the e-mail said this:
"The item is in transit with Royal Mail - the tracking number is :number was here:"

So yeah. Does that mean the item has just been sent out today rather than 2 days ago? What do I do with this tracking number now?

That's what it sounds like. Sent out today.
You can take the tracking number and use it on the Royal Mail web site to see exactly where your card is. NB they may be under the name of Parcelforce. You should google to check.

Ohh never mind, a royal mail van just pulled up in front of my house. The card has landed WOO! XD
Its big though O_o hope it fits.
Just downloading the Windows 7 driver for it, all seems good. I was worried at first when i put it in a booted the computer up, it said CPU fan error. but it turned out that one of the stray plugs from the PSU was stopping it from spinning XD its all good now.

They have always been good for me. My old review site was once partnered with them.

Apart from the sneaky VAT **** they are spot on.

Re: Anyone used AWD-IT (HDMI Ltd) shop on Ebay?

Just to warn you guys... DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! they are scammers!!

Just when you think that the prices are too good to be true, and you ring up to enquire about a product and they are really nice to you... then something goes wrong and they dont want to know!

Brought a motherboard bundle from these guys, when i got it it wouldnt power up.. sent it back and they tested it and said there was no problem with it so sent it back to me. When i got it back it still didnt work properly so we sent it back again. On them receiving it the second time they said that there was a fault actually... i asked for a refund and they refused saying they would fix the problem... after being pushed into keeping the product i got it back the 3rd time and guess what... still didnt work!! when i rang up to ask for a refund they said that they would not give me a refund because there wasnt a fault with it and i must have blown it up by using a dodgy power supply.. when i tried to argue this the guy on the phone called me an idiot and hung up on me!!

So still waiting for my refund!!

Its really not worth dealing with these guys... it may seem like a good deal but iv just lost £200!

Apart from being slightly useless on the delivery front, their customer service is spot on.

    avoid... ...Avoid... ...AVOID!

Despite repeated attempts to secure delivery of order paid for in advance the supplier AWD-IT (ADMI Limited) failed to provide £382.86 of goods.

Spoke to customer representative (Chris) several times over the last few days in an effort to resolve undelivered computer hardware.

Was told the order went to the wrong customer but checked with FedEx and confirmed that the identified customer who received delivery had no subsequent re-collection from Fed Ex.

Was told by Chris that he left a message on my mobile, but I do not have voicemail on my mobile.

Was told by Chris that my order was re-collected and would be delivered without fail yesterday. It did not arrive.

Was told by Chris that my order would be delivered without fail today. Spoke to Fed Ex, they informed me that they had no deliveries on their system for my post code, or address. Subsequently my order did not arrive.

Spoke to Chris and cancelled my order. Indicated to him that as I made my payment via PayPal he should be able to provide me with an immediate refund.

Had no refund, so I have raised a payment dispute with PayPal and Escalated for a speedy resolution.

PayPal were great and refunded me in minutes, it was like they knew the score with these jokers.

Last word from someone who should know better at my age... ...scan the Internet for reviews and feedback on any "never used before service", BEFORE hand!

Yes I would imagine quite a few have ended up paying quite a bit more than they expected when they pressed "but it now". Be nice prices if VAT was included though ...
