Tried installing those cuda drivers and got this message:
The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware.
Another folding thing that is destined to never work

Well I got it working by installing 177.35 with a modified INF... Its already done a few WUs but they are all worthless...

Look how many work units this did yesterday!!

Edit: For those interested, it takes 16 or 17 seconds to do 1% of a work unit and it gives 98 points per work unit.

Wow, 12 hours (or less) of folding and I have about 1000 points from this... meanwhile the smp client has given me 0... it deleted about 4 partially completed work units... it doesn't like to resume folding once I close it... it just starts another one

no idea sorry, the older client on ati's was always very well behaved on restarts and crashes and such.

early days yet so stick with it

i mean the smp client is the one that epic fails the gpu is giving me loads of points!

I get 1 unit takes 27 minutes with GPU client... thats about 100 points per half hour!
Actually that's better than SMP... but my cpu is idle most the time, so I may as well run smp whilst running gpu... but the smp client is crap

i think we have talked about the smp before - but are you using 5.91 or 5.92? had a hell of a lot of problems with the latter but 5.91 is fine. if your using 5.91 then im stumped and you join the massive list of people who cant get it going properly

19) Unless you plan to reboot, when you stop the client with CTRL-C be sure that the processes FahCore_a1.exe and mpiexec and/or smpd have stopped. Many folks are finding that they need to kill mpiexec manually and or stop/start the smpd service. If you restart the client without doing this, the WU may be deleted. A common message is MISSING_WORK_FILES.

I only used to kill fahcore process... I need to kill them all...
