Blimey, I think you're right about stores selling out already! I got my Win 7 Pro pre-order in at Amazon on the first day, at the same price as you paid above.... I guess they must have run out of these special price products now because the pre-order price now is a whopping £179.97! That's probably going to be their regular price from now on, with an 18% discount. *Ouch!!*
I'm very glad I didn't hang about, I've saved a fair bit there!
Ebuyer are again showing stock, home premium is £50 and they have 480 copies, prof is £90 and they are showing 700 copies.
Fully took the plunge on my main machine after reading your post, what with you saying Opus is fine and dropping nuggets on the pre-order, it would be rude not to now.
Just tried 9.1.3.0 and it looks like they've resolved that issue you mention. Doesn't mention Explorer replacement mode like it used to during installation and launches OK from Win+E as well now as far as I can tell.... had one niggle with Windows Explorer where it won't let me rename a particular file in a particular location and crashes every time (not path depth related), whereas Opus does it fine. Nice to have it back.
Looking forward to final release now.
I want to order on Pre-order but, I'm unsure which to get seems it is only home premium E or Professional available. According to Microsoft's product comparison the only one to offer multi language is Ultimate ??
PC world still offering at £44.99
Foolish question- I preorded mine from MicroAnvika, but I can't remember it offering me the choice between 32 and 64bit versions.... was the pre-order only for the 32 bit version?

woohoo!
Staples are still doing them cheapish as well. HP @ £49.98 and Pro @ £99.97 (bit steep).
Must say I've never bought Windows as a retail version before, so this makes a nice change
After looking at the comparison of versions on the Microsoft site, Am I correct to think that only Ultimate will allow you to use more than one language?
