It's the Euro version without IE included.

Edit - actually I think it's the version without Media Player.

I saw that and thought you must have to have a london postcode to use it.

I`ve ordered a copy of home premium.

I was hoping the family pack would have been anounce as I would have prefered to buy that

    Re: windows 7 pre order

Just noticed that Amazon have already stuck the HP E price up to about £75 - so they must have run out of the cheaper pre-oreder assignment already.

Not surprised, and glad I got mine!

Is there any likelihood Microsoft will do a multiple installation licence version or should I just go ahead and order a couple of copies of home premium?

Just stuck an order in for 2 copies with PC World... Wonder how many of these are going to end up on eBay for profit? (I mean in general - I'll be using both of mine)

I was thinking about this as well.

Think you are referring to the 3 licence family pack in the u.s. No indication if/when will happen here. From reading around i think it is a upgrade only anyway?. I would rather do a fresh install and only need 2 copies (1 pro/1 home)

Lots of stores selling out of the initial price quota now it seems, so i just surrendered in the end and placed my order at Tesco for my first ever purchased Microsoft OS (glad i skipped Vista now - was close to buying)

    Got....

    1 x Windows 7 pro for me £89.97
    1 x Windows 7 home for the wife £49.97

This includes free delivery and gives double clubcard points (139)
