I had a shock riding into work today - the bolt clamping the saddle to the seat post snapped while I was riding along at about 18mph. Fortunately I was on a cycle path as my clothing made for improvised brake pads on the tarmac. Scary. I guess that's what I get for riding a bike hard for nearly 14 years without replacing the seatpost.
Similar thing happened to my house mate a while back (his seatpost actually snapped in half, at the point where it enters the frame), while riding round a roundabout. The other half of the seatpost is still stuck in the frame, so he's been riding it around for the past few months with no seat on
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.
I live in the Netherlands, and 2 years back I went to Belgium(Ardennes) to mountainbike.
I used to own a Saracen Awol until it was taken without my consent
Was looking at a Kona Stinky after that, but never came round to buying it.
Wish I could afford a new bike I miss the riding
Kid and some of his mates were down at 'Glentress' (South of Scotland) at the weekend so I thought that I would post a few of their pics
Yes I think so , bairn had a service done whilst he was there, place seems to be well set up.
Thems is some nice looking bikes, not seen frames like that before!
Got meself on the front cover of the local monthly free thing
Picture was taken on the Viking Trail in South Barrue Plantation (I'm at the back)

Hi guys, Here is a link to the MTB world cup which is to be held at Fort William on 6-7 June. Track looks awesome , was down there end of last year and took a couple of pics. I hope to attend the event over one of the days .
