3-4kg / month for 3 months. That's impressive. How did you manage it in the end?

no more rich tea or jam tarts for snack. purely oranges i have instead. eat more chicken and fish and less red meat plus whenever i go gym i can run for 30/40mins without stopping at around 9.0 speed.
i then go on the rowing machine for 10mins flat too. i have not been to the gym for nearly two weeks now though and still maintaining my weight!
going to go back after the new year though
That's pretty impresive 15% weight reduction, and you weren't particularly overweight to begin with either.

hehe thanks pal. i'l keep at it though as i want to be fit for summer when i start playing football
Do a low carb diet.. i lost a stone in less than a month .. re introduce carbs after using a cycling plan and you shouldnt put any weight back on reintroducing carbs into ur diet
warm water?...i thought it was better to drink ice cold water for its thermogetic effect on the body
i dont eat biscuits anymore, i mostly eat chicken now and i aint been to the gym for 2-3 weeks now and still 71kg
running just before dinner too is good as well. basically running on an empty stomach burns all those fat thats inside u, not the food you just eat. so if u eat a 400Kcal meal and an hour ro two later do a 400kCal workout, all you have done is burned off the meal you just eat. not the excess of fat you have. thats why as you say, when you wake up its great to do cardio then or just before dinner time.
Apparently there are four simple rules to dieting.
1. Eat when you're hungry
2. Stop when you're full
3. Eat whatever you want
4. Enjoy each and every mouth, don't e.g. watch TV
I'm yet to try this theory. I think we can all safely say, that none of us do all the above. Give it a go I'd be intrigued to hear if it works.
I'd disagree with most of that, you should stop when you are not hungry, not when you are full as the time it takes for your brain to get the signal that you are full is ~10 minutes or so iirc so when your brain says you are full your stomach was full a while back.
Eat whatever you want, no, all things in moderation goes well with foods as there are somethings that really pile on the weight.
Hi Josh,
Change your weekend schedule. Avoid junk food.
Do take fresh fruits and vegetables. Take balanced diet.
Both swimming and treadmill have their own importance. Treadmill is best cardio exercise.

Oh, and seeing this thread has popped to the top again, if you ahve a smart phone get an app called myfitnesspal, I've been using it for a while to watch what I eat calorie wise and I weighed myself the otherday and I've lost 14lbs so far...
im 11 stone now, use to be over 13. have not been to the gym for nearly two months now and still 11 stones.
i eat those "healthy eating" ready meals here at work which only have 400 calories max and drink plenty of water.
In terms of food choice, its very limited here at work as i am working in scotland away from home(london) for a few weeks and staying in a hotel and relying on ready meals
i just had a KFC for lunch though lol
Hi,
Not an impossible task to do...
Try to eat carb food and exercise to burn as much calories as you are taking in..
Simple..
I just had a KFC too, as long as your not banging them away all the time and are running a calorie deficit then you'll be fine, I recently dropped 100 calories a day off of my intake which hasn't really made a noticable different to what I eat tbh so its not all that bad..
went out to the local running shop earlier as well and picked up some new trainers, feels like walking on air, give it a while till my foots better I might even start jogging..
i had a mcdonalds today thanks to my wife! all good though, still maintaining my weight hehe.
all my family and friends keep saying how i lost lots of weight hehe. loving it. During the week mon-fri when i usualy am strict. i.e frosties cereals without milk in the morning, one peeled orange around 10/11am, lunch i mostly have chicken and rice, or pasta. dinner is usualy chicken and rice as well. i sometimes have steak but thats once a week at most with salad and no chips.
No KFC/mcdonalds on mon-fri.
O and NO FIZZY DRINKS. i only have fizzy drinks when i eat kfc etc
