Old games that would be awesome remade

For me, number 1 would be Altered Beast.
Awesome in its day, i think that it left strong memories not just with myself, but with many people, hence why i keep cropping up being repulished on emulators or whatever...
But the original game really doesnt hold up all that well now, and looks ropey.

A decent 3d FPS or similar however would be AWESOME. I used to really love Bionic Commando (also keeping me up late on my ST), which was remade 3d-wise, but apparently not that well.
Any other games?

I loved Carrier Command on the Amiga in my youth. There was a game similiar to it a few years on called Hostile Waters, but wasn't quite the same.

Carier command was fantastic - whiled away most of one school holiday playing it!

For me I would love to see an update of Quazatron/paradroid - but keeping the simplicity and maybe adding multiplayer

i loved the cattle prod for removing other riders, also altered beast (would have said golden axe too but remake was poo)

would love a remake of final fantasy 7 too with up to date graphics

Summoner on the PC, awesome game but as its directx7 looks very outdated now, would like Final Fantasy 8 remade with the 10 engine behind it

For me, Speedball 2.

There was a remake of this in 2003/2004 from memory on the PC and boy did they butcher it. It was free on Steam for a day or two a while back which I grabbed it, once in a game it's speedball, problem is the menu's lol yellow text on white backgrounds and red text on backgrounds with a lot of red made it hard to see what you were doing. I would avoid this remake.

I would love to see Road Rash remade.

This is a game I would love to see a proper roots remake of it I am not sure why there hasn't been a remake of this as it still has a massive following.

This would be the one game I have been waiting for, for nearly 15 years I have been wanting this game to make some sort of appeareance in a worthy follow up. There were rumours that this would be re-done by Starbreeze through EA Classics:
