needs doing methinks =) i cant find any 4thgen ipod review on the net yet...but they they are pretty new i guess =)
apple are too elite to deal with online lowlife, so won't send a review sample - which means a review ould have to be done by someone who has spend money on the thing. which would usually be an apple advocate, judging by the gen 3 ipod review.
reviews by people whose view is that the product can do no wrong BEFORE they even open the box are not beneficial.
Borrow one from Spud, Coco, or Caged and do an unbiased review then

=p /me aint lettin his ipod out of his sight for a min..unless something nice like some kinda gfxcard/monitor/cpu/an y other nice xpensive things comes his way first
here you see the problem with the cult surrounding the status item.
the ipod is the only media player where rather than trying to conceal the headphone cord, you make sure everyone can see it dangling about as a sign of "look at me, i'm rich and white and have an ipod"
I'm not even gonna open the iPod earphones, they are complete turd. Sony MDR-EX71's all the way
