    Anyone know the specs of these (presumably) laptop hard drives?

    Here's hoping they are 7200RPM, otherwise this thing is going to crawl.

    They'll be 4,200 RPM ones, no doubt. iBooks have 4200, even PBs only have an OPTION of 5400...

    Still, thats what firewire is for My nice 120Gb seagate jobbie should do the trick.
    Well Hello!

    I'd have preferred a slightly larger machine if it meant having a 3.5" HDD

    It will need an upgrade to 512mb of ram right away. I dont know why apple insist on always putting just 256mb of ram in their machines!

    So they can advertise a lower starting price and charge over the odds for upgrades?

    Can anyone confirm the drive size/rpm speed? It's not specified on the apple site...

    This is the first time I've been excited by a Mac product.

    However, I can't help but think about the Nanode.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();
