Why must people damage my cars??!

Today I'm not happy - I bought a brand spankin' new Honda Civic type-s in March to replace my MG ZS 180. Lovely car, so cheap to run and it looks pretty nice on the Honda 18" wheels I specced. Anyway last week I noticed that some fool had hit my rear bumper taken all the paint off down to the base plastic and of course driven off without leaving any contact details. Not best pleased. Then yesterday I came down to go to work and noticed that some son-of-a-bitch had rolled across the bonnet and scratched the paintwork and put a dent in it. Lovely. What makes me real mad is that I had the ZS from brand new in 2004 and within a month some arse nicked the badges and put a huge dint in the nearside wing.

Im fed up - people are broken nowadays. No respect, wandering the streets 1/2 drunk all day, shouting abuse, no jobs or worth to society.

Anyway, rant over... Just wanted to shout and kick a little - I feel a little better now at least. Bye all.

Dad had the same problem with the 5 series he had, 3 weeks old and someone ran a trolley down the side. Strange thing is, in the 2 years he's had the Porsche, no one has ever touched it...

You have my sympathy. I recently purchased a new Golf GTI and touch wood, nobody has laid a finger on it. If it were even scratched I'd probably cry.

Where do you park it? On the main road or is this happening in a supermarket or something?

My mate had his spolier ripped from his FTO. Two weeks later they ripped the side skirts off as well. I'm not a huge modding fan, but that is no excuse for these people not to respect others property.

B'stards. It is one of those awful inequities that you, who have a job, work hard and buy a nice car, have a many thousand pound asset sitting in the street, and some merde-for-brains dick can accidentally or deliberately do hundreds of pounds worth of damage to it with ease. I had the alloy wheel centres nicked from mine, and they cost around 200 quid new, but the scrote who stole them probably got 20 quid on eBay.

The bumper was damaged in a supermarket car park during the day. The bonnet was done on Sunday night and my car is parked in my off the road parking outside my house.

Of course, my dog pissed on the alloy wheels of an Aston Martin on Sunday. Sorry, Mr. Martin.

Just leant that they completed £400 worth of damage to my bonnet and another £100 to the bumper - I can only make one claim on the insurance to maintain my no claims (9 years). Mad as hell, so annoyed.

I feel your pain. Far too much scum about nowadays.

My missus' folks live in an ok-ish area which has badlands on either side of it. Of a weekend evening, all the neds (Scottish Chavs ) that are barred from the shops and off-licenses in area A walk through the in-laws area to buy booze from area B, and vice versa. Whilst they're ambling through they usually kick, scratch or spit at a few cars and people. On one such occcasion our shiny new car was there, and received a kick for it's troubles, loosening and cracking the front spoiler. Our old car had the tyres let down, scratches, and the drivers wing mirror kicked clean off.

The in-laws have to move their cars to friends over the weekend, then fetch them on a Monday.

    Sad, sad, sad.

Annoying when cars get damaged...Mine has before aswell though.

I gotta say though, when i see a car parked on the pavement, i do tend to give the wing mirrors some 'treatment'.

Ignorant gits deserve that as my Mrs has to walk on the road to get around them with the pushchair.

I'd have no objections to a few bad batches of Ecstasy, Cocaine, Buckfast and some fake burberry which was unfortunately dyed with a lead based colour. That should take out most of them, the rest can be dealt with by neutering.

I would highly recommend rigging your cars with extremely high voltages. Would be illegal but will deliver very satisfying results.
