When did 8/10 become a bad score?

    Re: Metal Gear Solid 4 : 1st review - 10/10

For me the problem with the reviewer on Eurogamer is that he does'nt seem a big MGS fan to start with, so he's going to dislike the long cutscenes, Maybe for him its a 8/10 (which isnt a bad thing)but obviously will be higher if your a fan.

An unbelievably lengthy and self-indulgent epilogue - you can't call it a cut-scene, it's an entire film in its own right, and a deeply boring one too
see what i mean, Boring to him but brilliant for me. We all have our own opinions and those that are'nt feeling MGS wont be too bothered by this. For me though i cant wait, for all those loose ends to tie up and the main story it's going to be one hell of a rollercoaster. (and not the crappy scenic railway from Margate that burnt down recently)

Opinion is fine, but openly contradicting yourself is just misleading

    Re: Metal Gear Solid 4 : 1st review - 10/10

    Hi guys...

I'm a HUGE MGS fan, I've finished 1,2,3 and probably replayed 1 a couple times...

Sure, the sneaking around can get boring but I dunno, I REALLY enjoyed 3...loved that looong sniper hunt in the woods...ah brings back memories.

Looks like I'm going to have to grab a PS3 to play this though. Any ideas if the MGS4/PS3 bundle will hit the UK?

Wow can't wait as I've been watching one of the 15min previews by Hideo...amazing stuff!

I believe Play.com are getting the limited Gunmetal pack exclusively and the gloss black will be everywhere else.

    Hello Mike

Unfortuantely the MGS bundle will not be coming to the UK, you can order it online

Konami - Metal Gear Solid 4 Limited Edition PLAYSTATION®3 Bundle

Looks like it's only the US thats lucky enough to get them, there was talk of play.com selling them but i havent been able to find anything on there website.
Play.com removing Gunmetal PS3 MGS4 bundle from site - Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for PS3 News - VideoGamer.com

The Limited Edition Gunmetal Grey PS3 MGS 4 bundle is being removed from Play.com's site, VideoGamer.com has learned.

Yesterday UK gamers were given hope that the bundle, which has been confirmed for release in North America, would be coming out over here when it was spotted on online retailer Play.com's website.

However a spokesperson for Play.com told VideoGamer.com this morning that the bundle was being removed from the site.

Like you i've been through all the metal gears, even portable ops and i said it a few hundred times already ..I CANT WAIT TILL 12th June, (although hopefully through gameplay.co.uk i might receive it on the 11th ).

Pre-Order available to the US and Canada only.
Due to limited quantities, orders will be limited to 1 (one) bundle per household.
Shipping costs are higher than normal on this item, due to product size. Please review the shipping costs, during your order process.
