    Are any of the addons worth getting? There's about 4/5 now, at least one must be worth the points

    Re: Fallout 3 - What do you think?

    The addons are:

    * 1 Operation: Anchorage
    * 2 The Pitt
    * 3 Broken Steel
    * 4 Point Lookout
    * 5 Mothership Zeta

    I have the 1st 4 and only Broken Steel and Point Lookout are worth paying for.

    The Pitt is ~OK~

    It's an excellent game, and one of the best on the xbox. I, however did much prefer Oblivion, even though it was more glitchy. Though, the amount of quests in both insure you will be playing for a LONG time (Oblivion longer though).

    Probably my favourite game on the 360, but have to admit, am a bit disappointed with the DLC.

    It just ended up boring me just like STALKER did in the end. Suppose I just have a short attention span

    Re: Fallout 3 - What do you think?

    I've played it through on the 360 and the PC and i'm half tempted to go out and buy it again.

    I really can't decide these days what games are good/appeal to me, its only really been Fallout 3 and Fable 2 that i've enjoyed playing through not once but several times.

    Re: Fallout 3 - What do you think?

    I finally gave in last month and bought it along with Dawn of War2, I've played DoW2 once for a couple of hours, only because I was having crash issues with the 190 nvidia drivers on fallout3

    The reason I put it off was that I'm a BIG fan of the originals, I still have them installed and still play them now and then.
    I was worried that this 3d remake would be a total hash . . . it's not.
    It's very good.
    I do have a couple of issues compaired to the originals and I know lots of people complained about the short main story.
    I've managed to get lost in exploring the wasteland and doing side missions so I've not got very far on the main story
    My main gripe is that there's almost too much to do.

    In the originals there was lots to do and the main quests were more of a rough goal that you progressed to finding clues along the way, they've got that part fairly well down.

    My grip on too much to do is that there's tons of locations each with relative little to do at them and very few towns, where as the originals where a few towns each with loads to do in them and a whole lot of nothing but some random encounters between them.

    What this means is I'm happly wandering around exploring and finding things collecting a ton of stuff (even with repair combineing, a very nice addition) which I cannot sell as there's not enough shops and I cannot spend it on buying better equipment as the best stuff I've got I've pulled off the bloody gibs of my foes.
    I've now stopped bothering to take raider armour as I've got 6 nearly fully repaired sets stuck in my locker and I'm still sitting on 9000+ bottle caps

    One tip is if you have too many saved games it can cause issues, you'll notice corrupted loading screens, but also can cause crashing and speach errors.
    Just move all of the saves and the quick save backup and auto save backup, to another folder.
    So leaveing your last save, quick save and auto save in the savegame folder.
    The issues will then dissapear.

    Re: Fallout 3 - What do you think?

    of the same option as the others. one of the best games ive played in a very long time.

    got all the dlc but again the broken steel and point lookout are the ones worth some money.

    don't worry the first time you play though about your character. give it some time the next time though to explore the other perks and weapons and karma

    Re: Fallout 3 - What do you think?

    Not as good as Oblivion.
    Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
    CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
    TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
    for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
