so 30minutes before all the reviews are live? Hoping so.

I just want the wait to be over, although i am an AMD fan at heart i just want to know what to go for as the intel 2600k is just an easy option ready and waiting for me to click buy where as i will have to wait for BD to see how it performs.

Id think AMD would have scrapped BD if it was on the same/lower performance level of their P2 range, wouldnt make sense!.

Grr why is they using crappy superpi?

Seriously I hope he isn't knocking a CPU for superpi performance - any reviewer with even a basic knowledge of CPUs should know this!

wPrime looks good though, and assuming the 4C/8T CPU below it on Cinebench is the 2600, it gives pretty good price/performance IMO.

Bit tired to go digging/comparing now but should have some fun reading tomorrow!

I don't think it is as the 2600 is 3.4GHz AFAIK, the one under it is 3.2GHz on the screenshot.

Edit: So i'm guessing it is an 'old' i7 960/965.

seems my estimation on cpu pricing is mostly correct, the 8120 is ignoring the second wave of rumoured pricing (was like £10 cheaper) so is £165 like i said originally and the 8150 i said would be £201 but the later leak was something like £190/5 so looks pretty good!.

I certainly wont be buying from Aria though, all their chips will be used ones since it seems they're testing ALL of them and selling the good overclockers for a big markup and the rest going back in >.<. Means you are likely to get a CRAP one.

I know I wouldn't be happy if I received a 'new' component with a broken seal - I'd be returning it or expecting some sort of rebate since it's essentially used as you say.

Funny I thought they had a very successful GPU business, not to mention the rest of the fast-selling CPUs they've released lately, or the server market?

TBH I lost a lot of confidence in you average 'Internet person' after reading a Yahoo answer stating a higher wattage bulb had a higher resistance because it needs more heat. Felt sorry for the poor guy who asked the question though.

isnt AMD backed by like a ton of oil companies which mean its one of the least likely companies to go under? . Pure speculation, could have said that about intel when they had crappy chips vs AMD athlons or amd x2 chips, heck it probably was !

FX4100 could be a good buy if unlock rate is decent. Although with limited stock anyway i would imagine these would be performance binned chips rather just filling a price bracket?

I wonder how much of a step up the FX4100 will be over a Phenom II X4 965 though?? Power consumption will probably be better but I am not sure how performance will be ATM. Technically it should have the highest IPC of all the desktop Bulldozer CPUs ATM.
