The Core i3 used is a 2.5GHZ part with 3MB L3 cache and the G860 runs at 3GHZ with 3MB of L3 cache.

Ah, that makes sense. I think I ignored the 'T' on the end of 2100...
Saw this on SA:

One of the changes from Fermi to Kepler was the use of software scheduling.
Strange, Firefox is blocking SA as a suspected attack site?

FF blocked the The TrekBBS as an attack site too!!

One or two references to the 6000 series APUs:

BTW,it appears Richland seems to have a 3 cycle L1 cache as opposed to a 4 cycle L1 cache in Trinity.
Here is a review of the Athlon II X4 740 and 750K:

The AM3+ Opteron 3300 series has popped up on Insight:

It seems Richland is already being shipped to OEMs:

However, the article also says a Q2 launch for it too. It seems Kabini and Temash have been demonstrated at CES.
Supposedly Kaveri is using a Steamroller B core:

Kaveri apparently planned for 2H2013: http://www.anandtech.com/show/6567/a...vent-live-blog
If they can deliver on that roadmap 2013 could be good for AMD. Everything on 28nm and Steamroller APUs by the end of the year? Not bad.
Of course, a lot depends on performance and exactly how good Haswell turns out to be. Difficult to overcome that Intel R&D budget
Also very interesting that they took a pop at ULV i3 with Kabini - that shows some balls. Whilst the quad-Kabini will - obviously - be great for threaded workloads, I'm more interested in what they've managed to do in terms of IPC and clock speeds compared to Brazos - workloads are getting more heavily threaded but at the low end of the market outright thread speed is still important...

The gesture control is interesting and Vizio is big in the US AFAIK.
This is un-expectantly productive from AMD given recent timing/launch mishaps, isn't it?
Safe to say i was surprised when i seen the Hexus tile saying H1 for their quad-core SoC. O.o
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
