AMD is bonkers!! If they shipped the FX6300 with the FX4130 cooler, they would have a very good budget enthusiast part, which could be overclocked out of the box.

Cat, ****** link isn't clickable.
Those Jaguar results do look interesting. Just a pity they're only tried on Futuremark. Well, at least it's not Sysmark...
Edit: err, is the website beginning with a V filtered for some reason?
TDP contraints, I guess. The alu square (exactly the same as the stock cooler with our 3670Ks by the look of it ) is clearly rated to 100W, so they'll slap it in the box with any CPU rated at 100W or less. The 4130 is rated at 125W, AFAIK, so they need a better cooler with it. Presumably they assume that anyone wanting to OC a 6300 is going to buy an aftermarket cooler that's better than their own 125W version, so they don't bother including a more expensive cooler.
OTOH, that could explain why you don't pay much more for a 6300 than a 4130 - the 4130 needs to be a little more expensive to make up for the better cooler
A bit of the link was still snipped out by the forum software, managed to find it though.
Jaguar might have very good low load power consumption:

Any further news on where the Jaguar CPUs will be made, or is it still TSMC?
On a side note,it seems AMD has had the best sales of the HD7900 series this month:

Misinterpretation had occurred to me. News could have been better, but they've left enough options open for us to still be hopeful - maybe we'll see that 2560 core part, or even a 7930?
And at least they can put off having to think of the next naming strategy after HD 9000 for a while!
This chap works for OcUK:

However, before he joined them recently, he was involved quite a bit on those record overclocking attempts you see on HWBot for example.
Edit!!
Maybe AMD is waiting to see what Nvidia has up their sleeve first??
They do seem quite confident in the HD7000 series for some reason!!
Surprised they wouldn't want to get it out first and milk consumers with limited competition. But if they're as happy with 7000 as they make out, I suppose they're 'keeping an ace' as said in that link.
The funny thing is that I remember reading on the HardOCP forums early last year, that the HD7000 series would be around longer than normal. It seems whoever said that was correct.
AMD has released technical details of their Jaguar CPUs:
