Do you want to argue, or talk about GTAIV? Because I'm trying to talk about it with you, yet you ignore my post completely, in favour of picking apart another post so you can bicker.

taken from game-on-game.com GTA 4 Cutscenes Will Be As Long As 5 Films + New Trailer | Game on game
7 hours of cut scenes!!! looks like your be lucky to watch all of the cutscenes in a day.The BBFC has rated Grand Theft Auto IV with a rating of “18″ in the UK. Seven hours and forty-three minutes of cutscenes and five hours and twenty minutes of gameplay were given to the board so they could properly review the game.
Anyways i think it's silly for someone to care about how long a game is when they wont even be playing it.
Trust me you will NOT finish this game in one day.

And as for completeing it 100% for the achievement, thats at least a few weeks worth for most peeps.
100 hours is the time that's all over the net, and even Rockstar themselves have said it will take around 100 hours for 100% completion.
And there is DLC to come.
So in short - the game isn't short.
End of story.
who cares? I just know its going to be totally awesome either way.
Thing is, if a magazine has 'official' in the title, you can't trust the review scores.
I don't doubt its the dogs danglies, but every game is 'super cool dudes' in official Xbox and official Playstation magazine.
Official Atari 2600 magazine gave ET a 10\10 game-of-the-year-editors-choice-must-buy-100%-super-amazing award. And its the worst game ever.
No you're not... You started talking about bob hoskins/limited edition/game guides. What did you direct at me? Or do you just want to bitch at me too?
I'll play it when it comes to PC, as I've done with all the GTA games.
That would be great. I still hope a lot of that is the main mission though and not side quests. And yes it matters, to me anyway.
Stop saying the game isn't short when you don't know! As for downloaded content, hopefully it will be good stuff. Usually it's just cars and cheesy mods.

Batty - What I'd say is, while I've never played a GTA game I considered a world beater, they have always been value for money. A lot of work goes into these things, and GTAIV is the most hyped game since Halo3. Halo3, love it or loathe it, is one of the most complete video games in history.
You might like it, you might not, but I can (almost) guarentee that there will be enough of it. The single player missions, the multiplayer, which isn't tacked on, achievements, the social club, in-game music downloads, blah, blah.
Also, it will be like Halo3 is for multiplayer - jump on, choose a hopper, 1000s of people are online. It will be rammed 24/7 so you can multiplay your little heart out.
In short, if you like GTA you will like this. Rockstar will have made sure this floats the boat of their core supporters.
I think, after all the hype, all the waiting, al the money thrown at it, etc, etc, the chances of it being short enough to be a problem, or the multiplayer being 'pants' are slim.
Buy it if you like GTA, don't if you don't.
What are you even talking about now?Or do you just want to bitch at me too?
Ohh. I only didnt' respond cause I thought you were talking to someone called Batty. I now know thats me (worst nickname ever btw!!). And I agree, I'll probly love it. They never let me down in the past. But still, it wouldn't be the first time a game series that I love, took a steep turn down hill. I'm j j j j jaded. etc.
There's a lot of "one day" to complete the game in this thread. Well, if a lot of peeps are like me then your day would be something like this:
- get up, brekky, etc.
- go to work.
- work.
- come home.
- eat dinner and interact with the family, etc.
- when family've gone to bed play Xbox for 1 or 2 hours before getting ones own head down.
So, if the game takes an allegded 25 hours to complete, then yes, that can be seen as "a day to complete" but real peeps could easily spend up to a month, in real life time, to complete it. Give or take having a bigger gaming sesh at the week.
I mean, given the limited time I get on Xbox I've spent 3 weeks playing Bully and am finally on the final chapter. Though if my job was games journo, student or low life doleite with no friends, then I'd've completed it "in a day".
Lord Midas,
The final chapter on Bully isnt that long only took me a couple of hours therefore you should be able to finish it soon.
I have just completed it and am now on "endless summer" which is basically a free roaming level so you can finish any missions etc you havent already done.
Back on topic,
I am also in the same situation where as I can only play the 360 for a few hours during the night at the moment however I am sure when GTA comes out I shall be on this game as soon as I get a spare few mins/hours to myself.
Cheers Carl,
(sorry everyone - off the GTA topic for a mo)
The last mission i finished was Revenge on Mr Burton! Very chucklesome, what with him moaning and covered in poo. So, I'm actually on chapter 5, not six! my bad. Still, i've been spending a lot of time getting my achievements during this too.
I just don't know how to pull off wedgies on demand, I seem to do them by accident. Chapter 5 and only 2 wedgies to my name!!!

No probs. I thought you'd be in a similar boat.
Plus, I wouldn't want to complete GTAIV in one day. I like to make my games last, get the monies worth, and eek out all the gaming goodness I can. Then, after several months of playing and having completed the game, go back in and beat the crap outta it!!!
