I'm getting this for christmas so have to wait ages. There should be a hexus Left 4 Dead steam commutity group or something, in the demo pick up groups wern't exactly the best.

bloody hell i just got through a truely manic episode of No Mercy

I've finished it twice already on normal (first time a tank knocked me off the hospital, and second time i joined half way through, so I didn't have my achievement) so some wise-arse sets it to expert! we had to set it on easy at the last stage and it was still bloody hard!! We ended up doing it about 4 or 5 times, according to the end stats i killed over a 1000 though

I had to fight through the 5/6th horde in order to "get to da choppah!" THEN I finally get to the helicopter and leap like jonathan edwards, only for a bloody smoker to grab me and pull me aaaalll the way off!! Then another tank comes only a minute after the last and follows me back to the chopper and throws chunks of ground at us where I got incapacitated - luckily the last survivor jumped on and we were off...

Best multiplayer game ever?..

..yes and i got my achievement

i've only played the game on expert atm, not any other difficulty.. it feels harder than the demo though.

versus mode is awesome aswell

I'm loving it thus far, not played much, but it's a superb looking & playing game.
Have to try out MP modes at some point, my ADSL is super laggy tho and i'm rubbish

ALso that crossroads mall map looks like it will be awesome when released!

Great game and well worth the £19.99 it costs.

Plenty of replayability. Had some great games so far, nice touch when playing as infected as well. Looking forward to that Dawn of the dead Mall map as well
