To be clear, this game is well worth getting if you area fan of FPS, zombie games, survival horror or co-op.
It is just sublime, if only valve would sort out the lobby system... Even with the dodgy lobby stuff it is well worth getting, possibly game of the year for 2008 imo.

Played it last night for the first time and it is great fun, funny has hell when 100's of zombies are coming for you and your screaming like a little girl.
Reminds me a bit of my mates reaction when he first realised Zombies could come through the Walls on the COD 5 zombie mode
I watched 28 days later just before getting started on this game. It was a good introduction lol. The game is epic!!1
Great game, apart from getting stuck on a server in China or something the lobby isn't that bad, it can take a while to get a game going at peak times though.
The last mission of each campaign is always the best, especially when one of the team members gets dragged into the hordes of zombies by a smoker, or when the last survivor is limping towards the APC with hundreds of zombies running after them, resulting in lots of shouting and laughing on teamspeak
funniest moment was watching a friend running away from a tank when the rest of us were dead. He got into the safe house. And screamed like a girl when the tank just demolished the door and killed him.. He screamed like a girlwasn't expecting it
Great game let down by the lack of maps. I hope they release a couple more free soon as I think it really needed at least 6-8 maps on release. Apart from that it's good for a couple of hours fun. I think I got it for £20 on PC but would of been pretty cheesed paying £30+ on console for the lack of maps.
Well apparently veeeeery soon an update is being released which unlocks the 2 other campaigns for versus, bundles the SDK which will allow for custom maps to start appearing and a totally brand new campaign....also ive heard a new 'boss' is being added!Great game let down by the lack of maps. New maps and more weapons would be good. That's the only thing that I was expecting more of from the game. Cant wait to play some custom maps too, the Dead before dawn mod looks amazing.
Where the game really shines is in co-op with friends in the same room. Chaos and shouting ensues.
I just hope they don't charge for at least the next couple of maps as I didn't think there was great value for the game when it was released with 4 maps but that news is great.
I also played the Nazi Zombie co-op in COD5 and got to say that it's a great co-op. I hope they can bring some more maps for it.
The flame-thrower should be a very exciting add-on; a perfect way to hold the horde off if you're bad enough to get boomer bile all over you
I like the look of this, but they pulled the demo after release so will have to give it a go around a mates house. Bit dim of them really
Everyone seems to love this game but im not a fan. Don't hate it but don't love it.
If you play this game, try to play with a headset, makes the game 10X better!
