This could make up for the disapointment of MW2...A real PC game.

If you read the Battlefield blog, they report being dedicated to PC players.
I would hardly call my post as passing judgement, it was just an intro to a video game clip.
I think the idea was your passing judgement on modern warfare 2 before it's release.
As for it being a real PC game, play ArmA 1 or 2. Bad company is still born from a console and will still have to be dumbed down to play on the 360 aswell. And Bad company is a good game, and the clip does look very good and i'll probably buy it, just there's better.
+1
Bad Company 2 is still a console port and for all the fuss that's been kicked up over MW:2's lack of dedicated server support I find it incredible nobody has mentioned that if you want to run a dedicated server for Bad Company 2 you'll have to rent one from a third party, sounds like EA's thinking of their wallets before the PC gamers they're "dedicated" to serving to me.
If you want a proper hardcore PC FPS then Arma 2's the way to go, if not, well you'll just have to put up with console ports or wait for something else but let's not pretend Bad Company 2 isn't just as big a product of console gaming as MW:2 and will be "dumbed down" appropriately as a result.
Honestly dude I haven't run a server for anything in years and when I did I did it from home, I'd like to think with a 25mb connection I still could for some games but obviously I'm not as clued up on the subject as I could be. Regardless of that, can't you usually use whichever third party you like? The way it's worded on EA's website it sounds very much like there's some kind of exclusivity deal going on between them and a "trusted partner"....

well whatever, people say wait until features are confirmed, then they say wait until its released, then they say wait until you have played it yourself, then they laugh

Coming up on steam now to pre-order and get beta entry from Jan 28th, but its £34.99 on steam. Play has it for £26.99 inc beta and Amazon £24.99 but no mention of beta. hmmmm
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
Additionally it also appears that retail box set is not valve/steam compatible http://twitter.com/OfficialBFBC2/status/7415290422 so can not buy retail version register on steam play non-cd which is a pity
oh well to save a tenner thats fine by me !
