I think the highest round score I have had so far is just below 8k and that's with me always playing assault classes. Not even bothered with the rest so far.

Think thats my personal highest, the server i was on (XSG) swaps between conquest and rush along with different maps which is nice.

Nice try , but that doesn't fly with me. Your round score is average You only have a total score of 15k+ because of the Exemplary Battlefield Knowledge award which gives you 10,000 points

Couldn't find this anywhere in the forum, but guys on our clan are using this launcher to improve gameplay.

Gossamers BC2 Config Launcher (cant post link yet)

Allows access to some hidden settings and is easier than opening .cfg file.

I believe the FOV should be set to 90 - as this is optimal for the human eye.

Hope this is some use to people.

Additionally (forgot to mention),

using modded drivers can drastically help.

Tweakforce or Omega Drivers are worth checking out, as a first port of call.

ATI & Nvidia catered for - some trial and error may be needed initially.

I don't really use it, as I do all my editing in the config files anyway, but it is useful for those who are too scred to edit them manually.

There are so many hackers around and until they sort out punkbuster, I am dubious about a lot of these high scores.

No kidding, played for a couple of hours the other night and saw no less then 6 people get banned, from aimbot to multihack.

We're constantly kicking people from our servers - You can tell them almost immediately, just by looking at their kill ratio on the scoreboard. Additionally, very few people have an average of more than 2:1.

When are they going to optimise this game - more patches in the pipeline.

I've had close to 2:1 on a very few occasions, I've had a kill streak of 8 - does that make me a hacker? My point is, you can't simply look at the stats and decide they are cheating. PB had a huge update a couple of days ago, and every since then players have been kicked/banned constantly.

If someone has a 4/1 k/d or higher they are very likely to be cheating. Like they said it will be pretty obvious. Like Bu.Rogers at the top here: http://bfbcs.com/BFBC2_leaderboard/pc If I had a server I would kick/ban him/her straight away.
