This game is atrocious now. I am getting tons of lag and rubber banding. Did they change the hit boxes or increase damage across the board? Because literally as soon as I spawn I am “hurt” with blood across my screen.
That a side, my main issue is the lag and rubber banding I am getting. I get it every 20 secs or so. This is on my favourite servers (where I always ping 70-90ms).
a patch is due to sort the server lag issues, a test has already been done.
its the 3rd party rcon tools chat spam causing most.
Yeah, apparently hit boxes get bigger as you move faster now. What on earth is the logic behind that!?!?! They are encouraging camping?
My style has always been to keep moving, out position the enemy, sneak behind them etc, but it seems harder now...
Blah new update keeps crashing the Game out to the Windows Desktop. have to turn all settings to Min and then run an older checkpoint to get the game working.
With the new patch in-game search just hangs and I have to kill the bfbc2 process and my recent server list has all servers greyed out that aren't empty :/
edit: seems to be a issue with kaspersky

Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?
set kasperskys gaming profile so it pauses when you launch games.
Thats the first thing I tried, does not work

The game feels broken to me as well after this patch.
The first thing I noticed is my aim feels different, something to do with what they called 'fixing negative mouse acceleration'. I have always had the mouse acceleration turned off in game but it's still different, but over the course of an evening I was starting to get my hand back in.
It seems snipers can dominate a map more helped by the hitbox change, plus they fixed the M95 somehow (it already worked great IMO) and the semi-auto sniper rifles got a recoil buff. The game needed less sniping if anything.
Rushing the enemy is much less viable now due to the hitbox change making it easier to hit moving targets. So that's less fun as it encourages camping and crouching by rocks. It feels like your hitbox must triple in size when running full tilt as you get hit more running and dodging than when standing still or crouching.
Choppers got a big buff. Better handling. Tracer darts slowed down. Plus they now have working smoke means it seems pretty much pointless taking the tracer dart gun. Plus the hitbox change really helps chopper gunners. I was in a chopper briefly and it felt so easy to mow people down. Basically while you try to dart and CG a chopper which is quite hard now you will get movwed down by a gunner. Last night defending an island meant getting mowed down repeatedly by the same chopper gunner until they dropped in and took the mcoms. Much less fun than before.

I know what you mean ciber especially the chopper, I'm finding I dieing more from heli gunners, and I'm not happy about the bigger hitboxes either
The game is an absolute joke now. I have had enough, the massively increased hit boxes promote camping which as we all know requires no skill at all.
I’m out again, until they release another patch which fixes the rubber banding, lagging, hit boxes and sort out the weapon balancing (once again).
In the meanwhile, plenty of other games to play.
