    Block the Messenger servers - using the HOSTS file.

    Just have to get a list of the messenger servers though.

    The HOSTS is a good suggestion. You could also maybe disable the .exe and restrict access to it so no-one else can fix it or install over it.

    There are still many ways around it though, such as msn2go and the like.
