    Re: Are the neighbours dealing?

Deffo dealing. Heres what I think though.

First off, I know loads of dealers. They all stick purely to weed, and some of them sell E's. So the worst you are going to get, is stoners picking up little bags of pot before going on their daily munchy run, and people in their big spazzy blinged up cars buying something for the weekend.

If you're lucky, the dealer will have a, "No calls after 11pm" rule.

I've seen it go on for a decade or more, and nothing bad happens. People show up, run in and buy a tenners worth of weed or whatever, and then drive off. So if you're lucky, the worst thing you are likely going to have to deal with, is the smell of the weed in the hallway or whatever, and the noisy cars coming and going in the evening.

I would turn a blind eye to that, but I wouldn't let them cross the line. 11pm is meant to be legally speaking, the end of noisyness. If any of his "visitors" made noise after that, or ever did any damage to the building or anything, I would give him one chance. He will likely tell them to not come back. If he doesn't and they do come back.. and the noise continues, call the police from a payphone one day and tell them everything. My only concern would be the police not caring about it.

The police care, depends what area you live in though, chances are if you live in hackney that they have better things to be doing, if you live in esher then you might be in with some luck if thats the route you choose

    Re: Are the neighbours dealing?

I have known many dealers over the years. Some that sell weed, some coke, some pills never all three. I had a coke dealer living next door to me as well. Some of the stereotypes in this thread (from a drugs worker police liason as well??) are astoundingly ignorant and based on nothing but this 'pusher' mentality. I have never met a 'pusher' i.e somebody that gives kids free drugs to get them hooked. sorry, just does not happen in my experience. No idea where the hell prostitution comes in to it, that has left me totally mystified. I have lived next to a guy who dealt coke and a I knew quite well, never any problems apart from one too many all night parties, and a dude opposite who I also know sold coke and khet. I never felt unsafe because of it and they are really decent blokes who just happen to make a bit of cash selling to people they know and their friends. I live in a really nice area as well, very odd to be surrounded by dealers but there you go.

These people will not bother you unless you bother them, leave well alone tbh. While most dealers I know are generally nice chaps, there are always more aggressive types who could retaliate. If these visitors are not causing too much of a problem I think you would be well advised to just leave well alone.

Agreed it doesn't happen....but I don't think anybody said it did? When I said 'if I had kids' it was just with respect to them bumping into unpleasant customers - I imagine when you have kids you are more conscious of who hangs round your front door. If anyone were to give my kids drugs for some bizarre reason, I'll see to it that they have the sense to pass them straight to their dad (without telling mum)

I think the idea is that they are customers but otherwise unaffiliated to the dealers, at least that it what I was saying. I think most people accept that a woman addicted to rock will often finance this by prostitution. Living next door to where it is served will see all sorts visiting your area. Again you wouldn't want too much of this on a school night, but if everyone is a grown-up then live and let live

    Agreed.
If anyone came near my children pushing it then I would deal with them in the appropriate manner.

I think it's perfectly relevant that at this juncture, we're not sure that the parties involved are dealing some weed out to mates , shifting kilo's of uncut nose candy to the local primary school, to assume the former is a small leap of logic considering the evidence but to consider these people involved in some kind of organised crime/prostitution ring based on the evidence is a leap of logic only the tabloids would be proud of; especially when you go on to state it is "often the case".

Quite frankly the only opinions being thrown around in this thread that worry me so far have been yours, such sweeping statements and generalisations based on such little evidence going widely unchallenged shows the ignorance present within society to the countries drug problems.

    Re: Are the neighbours dealing?

These pushers sound brilliant. Not only will they give me free drugs until I'm 'hooked', but there will be prostitutes as far as the eye can see. I must keep an eye out for a pusher.

A dealer usually just sits there ****ing about on his Playstation, expecting me to pay (!) and his skallie mates hanging about the place don't seem to be on the game. One of them normally asks me for 70p for chips while I'm there though.

Where are these free drug pushers then?

OUTSIDE SCHOOLS HIDING IN THE SHADOWS LAUGHING LIKE THEY DO IN FILMS AT THE EVIL DEEDS THEY ARE GOING TO COMMIT!

    Thats where.

    Re: Are the neighbours dealing?

And I would say most weed dealers i know/have met have only dealt in that the occasional one that did more, but alot of people are more sensible than to go and do heroin.

But as you would expect this forum is probably full of people interested in computers, which by and large you could generalize and say were the more geeky type which in more stereotype is the opposite to alot of drug dealers...

Its fairly obvious what kind of people alot are on here, by the discussions on rap music and drugs before.. this is just a re iteration.
