Fancy using emotional blackmail on your husband as he's there's a chance he's gonna vote for the christian instead of the christian she likes.

    Re: Atheist Bus

She seems to gloss over the fact that advertising for religion has done what she dislikes about the bus campaign for much longer & has had donations which far exceed any amount this campaign could raise.

Pot sitting @ £109k now, I hope this means they extend it to other cities.

Most religious people I know are scared that if they do not conform to the will of an unseen being who's human representatives on earth set all the rules they'll burn in hell.

I'm not against people having different opinions; what I'm against is people in influential positions never having their opinions challenged.
Umm...like religious leaders have for thousands of years?

Quite, she has zero sense of irony. Dawkins is a really bad example for her to say this about, who as a scientist has his accepted knowledge challenged all the time.

    from the comments:

You only have to attend one of their dreary humanist funerals to see that – I am never going to another of those, just to be made miserable.
Yeah. I remember the last Christian funeral I went to. What a blast. Pissing ourselves we were.

"Incredible! Thank you so much for all your fantastic donations. We've now raised enough (£107,433.16, independently of Richard Dawkins' donation and Gift Aid) to run a full advertising campaign across the UK with the slogan "There's probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.""

I'm not that surprised by the fund raising success, since atheists are generally smarter, and smarter people tend to earn more money...

And of course, that's not a racist and prejudiced comment based on stereotypes at all.

I don't see how it is?

Studies show that the lower your standard of education the more likely you are to believe in fairy tales.

Christianity is debatably a religion. Even though I'm atheist I still recognise that christian's have the right to believe in whatever they wish. Until the point at which they stick it in my face and tell me to accept it.
