Spent some of work enjoying myself in the nice cold plane (-50C up there you know)

Then landed and had to go outside. The heat on the apron is bad enough then mixed with jet engines creating it

70 Celsius?? Is it in a greenhouse or something? I can't imagine it being that, after all your PC would probably have overheated and I doubt you would be able to stand the heat yourself. I don't even think wet bulb temperature is that high.
    It is hot though!!!

Just have a guest in (hotel) complaining that his 70 ton rig was 80 but its very cool here in reception

It's true what they say, we complain when its cold, we complain when its hot!
Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?

I don't get it, people complain about the weather all year saying it's too cold, then we get a bit of heat and everyone moans about it...

I hate this weather, there's no way to escape it. It's 29.5°C in my bedroom and it's gone midnight, how am I supposed to get to sleep?

I'm one of the weird people that doesn't moan about the cold weather though, I like it, and can't wait for it to return. At least if you're cold you can wrap up...

I agree with you there. I really like the crisp cool winter mornings...
And like you said, it's easier to warm up when it's cold than it is to cool down when it's hot.

I think autumn is my favorite time of year. Although seeing women walking around in skimpy clothes is always nice.
