What they dont tend to do in theis country is have the actual temperature then add on the humidity factor. They do it with wind chill factor in the winter. The humidity makes it feel that much more.

Hence, wet bulb temperature. I remember reading somewhere that a dew point of 35C made it feel like 80C (dry bulb temp was 'only' around 40)! Think it was a record (not in the UK of course)...

Edit: Found it on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dew_poi...eme_dew_points was in Saudi Arabia.

The office I work in as one of those industrial units/warehouses in a business park.

They put an upstairs in by adding a floor.

Its SO hot in here its not even funny, for the past few days its been 34/35oc in here.

The heat on its own is just about bareable, its the humidity thats the killer.

    Oh my, what heat!

Taken 2 buses through city centre traffic today, got to take 2 more in a little while. Even on the bottom deck with all the windows open they're like greenhouses...

I think the driver's cab must have air con - it always feels strangely cooler towards that end of the bus. I don't blame them though there's no way I could drive in that heat all day!

I am outside led down in the shade.
    Sooooo board

Do I spend what little dollar I have on cooling for me room or do something else?

Still I cannot be bothered to get up and I need a pee. Do I go find a toilet or pee on the people who sat too close to me when they have loads of room to sit far away?

Obviously I make zero effort on my appearence. Why they feel the need to pass comment on my appearence I do not know.

I think I want to pee on them

Hey this foriegn woman came over with a note. Wants money for nappies and food.

I hate the summer weather in the UK, its not because I don't like hot weather, but it is because I know that when it is hot here it is humid, very humid!

I could so do with a nice thunderstorm atm

Think I'm gonna take a nice cold shower to cool down

This hot weather along with the hayfever is killing me, So hot at night causing me to have unrestless nights.

Plus I have to get up for work at 6am in the morning to get to work, sometimes i will be lucky if i manage four hours sleep.

Sea breeze is keeping the temps down here nicely - only 25.2° in my room today.

Good job she wasn't asking for spelling lessons
