Nice pics da ding, the first one looks really cool. Can't wait to use my Minolta Z2 with 10x optical zoom to get some real good close ups of them!
I'm ordering my ant works tomorrow... can't wait!

Why r they trying to escape!
Maybe they can hear all their fellow ants in the garden calling them back! - They r suppose to work on some kind of telepathy/hormone thing arn't they..?

Just got mine after being away. Will set up this morning. There will be a time lapse webcam which will update every 15 mins (however the page updates every 30 secs - don't ask me why; the software does it).

The address is http://antcam.matt-dickins.co.uk (bookmark it)

Edit: Won't be up and running till this evening (cam works just not put in ants)

Nice pictures mate, My streaming webcam is going going strong, so far I have had over 350 comes and have a look, The link is in my signiture, those ants look so black compared to my yellow ones. Just think what would happen if you introduced them together. We would have Ant Wars

Lol order has gone for the ants...

But as someone said about ants loving sugar, i discretely put 3 massive areas of a sugar/water concoction in my back yard but i see no ants, i shove one lot directly where ants normally come from so i guess they enjoyed that. But in the 2 other parts > no ants strange or what > and it has been quite a warm day!

@ Timmy ill post pics of my ant works as i am sure a pic of a plain antworks could be very boring.

Alos @ EVERYONE look on the packaging of the antworks box, where it shows the intricate tunneling of the ants, if you look on the picture, they clearly are superimposed (the ants) as their legs some how lie outside the tunnel! BIZARRE! Lol

    I cannot wait!

    PM sent regarding the above.

But it does seem it was me (Famished unblocked my ip and it worked for me again!), i shall check my PC for any malicious spyware etc, but i run Zonealarm Pro, Norton (fully updated), Microsoft Anti-Spyware and the occasional Ad-aware scan, so what else can i do to make sure nothing is on my PC. All of those above stated scans come clear except for 'msn plus' add-on (3rd party) for msn messenger, but is only thought to be a risk, as i told it to install without the sponsor etc...

So sorry for any problems induced by me!

    Ian

EDIT: Anyone know any other programs i could use to check my system for 'hidden' things or should all the above have found everything?!

Ok, some pics for Timmy, but there's really nothing interesting to see yet. There's a lot of little gel crumbs around the surface of two of the tunnels now but none of them seem to 'get' the idea. One little ant did all that himself, haha!

I think my big mistake may have been to put a little bit of glace orange peel in there. They lept on it instantly (not joking, they went for my finger too) and gorged themselves on it until their abdomens swelled up twice as big! Since then they seem to be pretty full and I don't think they've had any call to try eating the gel. I thought the sugar rush would make them go nuts and start digging but instead they just started chewing at the lid.

    I hate them.
