Glad you all like it, Ir eally cant wait till my extra pot of ants come through the post, just put my farm on the window so it gets the sunlight, it sends the ants into overdrive and they actually dig, maybe they have seasonal affective disorder

There is no point in really waiting for a queen, I am hoping that my second batch of ants will increase the speed at which digging occurs. Its really annoying have to wait for the ants so I am gonna upload the order form for you all so you can order the ants before you get the farmLooks like I'll have to wait a while more to ensure a queen...?

I didn't think there was a point in introducing a queen to such a small environment. After a few weeks or so surely there'll be no food left and a shed load of eggs or new ants?? They'll probably pop the lid off and crawl out all over your bedroom! I hope the colony isn't near your bed!
I'm sure they don't multiply THAT fast! If they do then I'll just have to get a small ant-eater as a 2nd pet...
