    Kentucky Fried Ant anyone?
lol im sorry, you can still cook them though, put them on something that will get really hot like a pie and watch them burn. (dont eat it though) Great suggestions on how to put their lives to an end, perhaps someone can film/take pics when the day comes.

Well mine have arrived. I managed to find 14 ants even though it was raining. 13 of them have constructed 2 ant towers in the corner and one has been exploring and is currently nibbling on a piece of debris from one of my holes. He must like it. I think he will be the first to start digging. I’m going to name him Doug!

found bout 30, spent last hour + half getting about 15 out of soil and into thing. More worrying though THEY ESCAPE THROUGH THE AIRHOLES at the ends. A bit of sellotape should solve that .

    UPDATE

Doug has done plenty of exploring and has even visited most if not all the holes. Harry has been franticly trying to escape checking any way out.

I've been out now the rain has stopped and found about 6 more although had to rush in for the phone. I found one carrying a small stick and though he would be a good digger (Sampson) although after he dropped it I discovered it was the leg of something much bigger... possibly a beetle. Oh and when I opened the lid to put in the new ant Harry was out like a shot. Took me a short while to catch him too.

Now they are all hugging again except Doug. Oh and Harry who it trying to find his way out of a top corner.

I haven't put all the ants in yet but, once I have. Whenever my computer is on (all day, most days) I'll have it time lapsing to my site every 15 mins (the auto-generated page updates every 30 secs but the pic every 15mins).
