yup for me now. I needed to install the active x thing and I block all in FF, so I just viewed it in IE.

some qs.; are you using something like dyndns or do you have a static IP (or does the software do it for you) and did you have to enable port forwarding, how much resources does it take from your comp? How long does the unregistered v. last? Cheers!

    P.S. It's so cool

    Edit: pysoft.com isn't it

    Anyone else with FF problems?

    Which Active X thingy?
No trees were harmed in the creation of this message. However, many electrons were displaced and terribly inconvenienced.

I am using dyndns software which the software does for you. I had to enable port forwarding on my router. Does not seem to be hogging the system. Of course I would turn it off if I play any games though. The unregistered version lasts 30 days, gonna mess around with this and WebcamXp to see which is the best before buying.

The software wizard let me choose Active X or Java, active X lets you see the footage at twice the speed hence the choice.

dunno if it was just a coincidence, but on closing the window with the activeX running, its parent window (IE running hexus) closed too, and I lost all my cookies

pretty cool really....but asking you to pay extra is a bit cheeky when you send off for the ants.
also why not just collect some ants from your garden?

You could get some ants from the garden, the only reason I sent off for them was because there was no way I was gonna spend 6 hours looking for 20 ants in the cold and the ants they send you are the perfect ones for digging.

Says that on mine too. First I tried FF, and it said testing. Then I tried IE, and after installing the active X thing, it says no image.

Wait a while, it'll occasionally say that and go into the old BBC testing colour bars and then the image should come back. Not sure why just loses it every so often.

It wont even allow me to connect to the page I am in the process of downloading another piece of software so hopefully that might make things a little better.

It just says "connecting to server" on both browsers now .

EDIT 1 - now it's gone to "offline" on both.

EDIT 2 - now it's a black screen with "unregistered" in it.
