Make a new .NET passport, set it up with messenger if you have a spare computer run that for it as a server, we add it to our contacts.

Or get some software that updates and image every 5 mins, and sends it to your hosting or dyndns us to your computer as a server. But spose if looking for solution for the next few months, that'd be annoying and eat at your resources for your comp. Also your ISP might not be too happy with that.

    P.S. I'm sure there's a better way!

I can update the picture every 10 seconds or so with the creative software but I want to run a "live" camera so you see whats happening in real time.

Yeah, has to be live. Ants are great if watched live, not every 10 seconds.

Does it come with a kettle?
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

God there is so much software out there, gonna take me a few hours to get this set up, to keep you happy here is the latest picture of my babies. As you can see they have made quite a bit of progress over the last 10 hours. They have extended the nest into two tunnels.

I belive www.iwantoneofthose.com do a price for best review or something. I'm sure if you post a review of this, also with your webcam, you'll:

    a. get a price, and
    b. get your webcam on www.iwantoneofthose.com

Obviously, tell them when it stops being an ant-cam and starts to do "other things" .

hehe, that would be a fantastic idea. Just found a fantastic piece of software that lets me use my PC as a HTTP server so you can connect to me and view the camera.

Gotta go and pick my girlfriend up from work now but will work on it later tonight.

Either it's 'offline' or 'no image' or you get a still of it for a few secs and then it does one of the previous for awhile..... keep trying mate!

The quality is OK, but it seems to be still, not updating enough...
