Thats awesome! I should invest in an ant farm!

    We'd have a special bond, the ants(ss) and I!

Looks like it wont be me post any more images in the first post

Well its been one night since their introduction and the little gits are doing well. They have seem to have set this tunnel up as their base/hive and are sending the others out to do the tunneling. All the eggs have also vanished, I am guessing that they are somewhere in the main tunnel. This tunnel is also starting to branch off which is good. I want a maze

Going down to PC world in a bit to get my webcamera, so it will be up and running later

That's what was done in concentration camps! But they're ants.

    P.S. I can't see any photos.

Edit: Pics working fine now. Could this be stickied - it's an awesome thread.

Yeah sticky! When we all get one we can compare!

I am gonna start looking around to find where u can get queen, if I am going to get one I want it to laast longer than 6months - when the gel runs out I'll just get another and they can start al over again.

Famished - can you give the details of where you got the ants please??

    It's a bit cheaper here < £21 inc postage!

Also a handy little site with a 'where to buy ants from' link at the bottom of page!

There is a form that comes with the kit, you have to send it off with a £3.50 cheque.

Just brought a great webcam am setting it up now.

Yes, have you got the address please? I can then send them a letter asking about getting a queen.
