    Germany 2 v 3 Italy

    France 50 v 0 Portugal (ok thats just what i hope....really 3-0 to France)

I hope france win it because

    A. Im English, its in my genes to hate Germans when it comes to football

    B. France has played the nicest footy out of those so far (and im 1/8th French)

    C. Portugal...no need for an explanation

    D. Italy are slimey cheating buggers

france v portugal...in the first 5 minutes ronaldo suffers a colapsed groin and is then sent off for being a cock with a pin head. shortly after, the same thing happens to henry and then the pitch opens up and both teams fall into a bottomless chasm and are eaten by chesney hawkes' poodle.

i was gutted, thought germany would go through to the finals, even more so as its great to see the home-nation doing so well. I think after the first goal, they knew it was over, conceding the del piero goal in resignation.

It was a great game to watch, yet, im disappointed that Germany didn't win. I think they would've had it gone to penalties. However, it wasn't to be, and alot of german fans are gonna be crying tonight!

lol Steve B...clear to see you aren't English, wanting Germany to go through

i think i was more excited when italy scored than if england had! Sorry but....its Germany lol

Really was a great game though, lets hope tomorrow is like that...from the French at least.

I was really suprised, even though I wanted Italy to win I was quite sure that the Germans would win. Since it was Germany the Swedish played against when they got out of the game I just couldn't be on their side + my mum's Italian so that can speak for itself .

I'm sooooo glad that Italy won *YAY!*
    VIVA ITALIA

But yeah, it was a great game to watch and the most exciting during the whole thing. If it had gone to penalties (which I thought first..before the first goal)..I also think that the Germans would have done it.

Yeah, I saw some on the TV so yes I guess there will be a lot of German fans crying tonight! But also a lot of Italians cheering and crying happy-tears

Well done to the Italians, im glad they won, cause i hate the Germans in a football respect. I also bet the Italians are happy as someone told me they get tomatoes thrown at them if they lose in football (dont know if its true)

Everything about that game was excellent, shame there had to be a loser really, though I do think Italy just about shaded it Thought Pirlo was Man of Match, but several other's ran him close.

Hopefully the last three games will be just as good!

France are 1 up, and now are starting to lose control. (@ 78mins)

Lucky portugal can't score from 2 yards.
Although the drama is staring to get to point of Osca winning proportions now from them.

And I don't see the french doing the same, NOT all teams play that way it would seem.
