Yeah I think Ecuador's 2nd was offside, or at least as much as that Polish guy's was. Also felt sorry for the Pole's a bit as they hit the woodwork a few times, but still glad Ecuador won!

yer how long is the world cup i cant remeber, i thought the olympics was only two weeks some1 told me it was 4 earlier some1 tell me the correct, if brazil dont win then its ridiculous the team they have from midfeild up is amazing. what is it with ppl in this country buying all those **** plastic flags to stick on your car, stop and ask your self wat differnce you are making by putting it there, oh right none so why bother

That's how Sven plays, get a goal up and defend up, there's noway they'll win the world cup like that, can you imagine taking off Owen after 55mins after (hypethitically) being 1-0 and a team like Brazil, Spain, Italy, France attacking England on the edge of their box, they would get taken apart!

I watched the match here at working using the BBC online service, and was pretty good, setting the video anything higher than 200% made it unwatchable but very handy I must say

the ref was terrible - although it didnt suprise me, south american always sticking together - tbh i cant see him refereeing to many more world cup games - didnt they say he had sent off 4 players in his last match?

As everyone else said, that ref really was biased, every decision going to them! And as if Gerrard or Crouch deserved yellow cards, they didnt even do anything

And also as others have said, we wont be winning the world cup with performances like that, doubt we could even win Germany on that 2nd half performance, lets hope we dont have to play them. It seems to me though, that we can play better when we have too, like we play just good enough to beat the team we are playing and no better, so hopefully if we played a better team we'd raise our game to just above theirs....i hope!
