I had problems with saturday delivery from Amtrak a few years ago.
Looks like nothing has changed since then...

When I rang up they couldn;t give a toss, just told me it was still in the depot in sheffield (where it had been picked up from the previous morning...)

I ended up going to the depot after work on the monday. When I saw the state of the depot and how they treated the packages, I wasnt suprised it didnt turn up, I was just grateful when I got it in one piece...

And the last time I got a citi link delivery, it was an hour and a half round trip to the depot!

It does make me wonder what they are actually charging for?

The City Link bag, and the benefit of hindsight.

A standard 'I'm not to blame' message from them, that's why they are supposed to drop a card through the door to say they called. Obvioulsy the flaw in this is they could say you destroyed it just to get some money from them.

well thats what i thought..BUT...they claim to have delivered it at 10:30am on saturday morning, however at 10:37 i took delivery of a package from another e-tailer and i know for a fact i signed a PDA on collection, im going to try and get a copy of that to prove that i was in at that time should they dispute it

I work for a company, and we use a number of carriers, we are annoyed by the carriers when they fail to deliver because this reflects badly on are company – but honesty from the carriers is a little more helpful when trying to resolve the situation.

I'm not sure if the carrier used in this case list all times and events on their website for a consignment (like DHL for example)? Be interesting to see what time they collected and if they have entered a card left event on Saturday.
