Getting women drunk can be the soloution to many problems, but not this one

He's looking for more of a "make-sure-she's-in-a-good-mood-before-broaching-an-uncomfortable-subject" kinda thing and those always tend to involve more jewelry than alchohol

was going to suggest this, *might be she just needed 60 quid sharpish (although its strange to take it a twenty from each pile and not just 3 from one)

she might have 'hidden'/stolen it because she was angry about the holiday thing to get back at you

Chuck her mate, she can't be trusted and you are best off out of it. Don't tell her it's because of the £60 though, just come up with some really vague excuse- that way she'll almost certainly know it's because you think she's a thief, but she won't be able to get on her high horse about you not trusting her etc.

Sod that, she is someone you trusted, call the old bill on her, that might give her a scare and make her admit being a git
Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?

i dunno, i think forget it. i'm not saying that your family is crooks, but anyone could of taken it. i say be more careful next time buddy as if it's not her, you might lose her. you need to make sure if someone comes in your house you don't trust take all your valuables up and put them in a safe box.

accusing people isn't nice, when you don't know who it is.

Just out of interest what did you get her for xmas, maybe there was something she hinted for you to get her but women being crap at hints and men being crap at getting hints you didnt get her what she wanted so she's gone out to get it herself, expect a receipt and a new pair of shoes buy the end of the weekend...
