I must advise you to stop watching any more movies, go burn your DVD player.

Taken 2 was a pile of sheet. No action at all, no Turkish martial arts, and very boring storyline.

Skyfall - Oh God! That's the worst Bond movie I have ever seen! I hated Quantum of Solace for too much action and little dialogue. But, between Skyfall and Quantum of Solace, I'll choose the latter anyday as a better watch.
Where do I begin with Skyfall....
    - Naomi Harris is a rubbish actress, she isn't good looking and her British accent was appalling!
    - The main Bond girl was supposed to be Bernice Marlhoe and her screentime was way too short. And, Bond didn't bed her either. WTF ?
    - Naomi Harris becomes the new Moneypenny.
    - Q dies .... Judi Dench won't be in future Bond movies.
    - The new Q looks like a gay geek!
    - Not much hand-to-hand action
    - Bad guy's death was mehhh X100 !
    - There is a new M
    - Hardly any gadgets. Did old Q take all his gadgets with him when he left the company ?
    - The plot was so unbelievable and badly written

    4/10. AVOID!

We must have different taste in movies.

I was entertained through both movies. I must admit the new bond movies are not following the same formula as the older ones.

Am I right in saying that these Daniel Craig ones are Prequels to the originals. Casino Royal being the first book written ????

I think Skyfall can be summed up quite easily.

Half-decent action film, rubbish Bond film.

Saw someone mention Lawless which I saw the other night, can't recommend it highly enough! And I think Tom Hardy is brilliant in every film!

    I suggest watching Warrior

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

Right, just got through another batch of LoveFilm discs -

Sherlock Homes: A Game of Shadows: Entertaining, irreverent, cool fight scenes.
Time to Leave: French film about a bloke to finds out he's got a brain tumour, has a few months to live. Lots of staring, lots of scenery, lots of symbolism. All in all, OK, if a bit 'arty'...

Oh, and watched 51st State on the telly on Saturday, it was good fun...

Yeap; was fun but you gotta laugh at the structure of his wonder drug! I mean how hard is to ask someone to come up with something plauasable. Not as bad as them finding able to extract dinosaur DNA from a male mosquito preserved in the amber in jurassic park though......

Watched 'the raid' over xmas which was not bad at all. Always nice to watch films from a new country.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

Watched Source Code and Black Sheep at the weekend.

Source Code: Better than I thought it would be, kinda predictable but not unenjoyable.

Black Sheep: So bad it's good. Kiwi comedy horror. Some laugh out loud moments. Lots of subtle one-liners, so you have to listen to the dialogue...

was forced to watch The Lucky One over the weekend.

predictable, but not completely without humour... mainly the dialogue itself.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

should have added an 's' to the movie because "The Lucky OneS" is a good movie! I usually watch a movie a night at least and Last Night's was

"The Bourne Legacy". - Pretty average but then again I hate Jeremy Renner

Most recently I watched Killer Joe. It was a good, but rather strange movie. Quite a messed up ending to go with it too.
