Battleship. It was actually alright for a summer action flick, I wasn't expecting anything good but ended up enjoying it.

We watched Thor 2 at the weekend and it was a good film. I really like the Loki character. Got some comedy bits as well which is nice.

The Three Colours Trilogy. All of them ended with a 'Huh?'. I thought it might all come together at the end of the third one, which it did, to an extent...

Edge of Tomorrow, the new Tom Cruise meets Groundhog Day pic.

EXCELLENT! Truly well delivered, in every aspect - plot, character, pacing, camera etc. Came out with a huge grin. Doug Liman (Bourne trilogy) nails it perfectly.

Have a look on imdb. Not bad reviews, wot.

One can never stop saying Thank You

Went and seen the new X men movie last week. One word

    Epic.

Only ever seen the first one but went and seen this anyways. Was blown away by the story and the action. My movie of the year so far.

Will have to go and watch the rest of them.

47 Ronin, a must watch, just so you can see exactly how bad a movie can get.

Sword fights are ok i guess, acting is nonexistent, plot is sublimely stupid, car crash of a film, couldnt stop watching.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

I watched The Dark Knight a few weekends ago (the one with the Joker), thought it was brilliant. Watched the Dark Knight Rises (the one with Bane) this weekend and fell asleep half way though. Far too long, far too boring.

Got Withnail & I on Bluray as a gift last week. A personal favourite of mine. Some of the best swears you'll hear in a film. The bluray conversion is a bit poor though, very snowy/grainy.
