32 - 35 Mb/s
32 - 35 Mb/s
200-250KB/s
2MBs at best
It's been a few weeks since the speed increase and so far there hasn't been a single drop so it looks like it may be stable. When it was syncing at about 70000kbps the downstream SNR was about 6 and since the sync rate increase the SNR varies between 2 and 3 so to my surprise it has remained stable.
I'm lucky to get 12Mb/s at home with sky, average more like 4Mb down and a pitiful .75 up. Presuming I get anything I've been left for over a week at once without any internet, not to mention the almost daily hour or so the router plays up. On my phone (3) I get nearer 13 down and 2 up which has been a life saver. Thinking sky? DON'T DO IT!
This is my result (I like this test better and it was recommended by Steve Gibson on Security Now as being better than speedtest.net):

Sky broadband unlimited £7.50 /month as I don't use their phone supposed to be up to 16Mb depending on distance to exchange etc.
5.21Mb/s is what I'm getting not to good considering I'm about 1.5 mile from the exchange. But it seems to be the cheapest about.
Upload speeds are starting to head in the right direction.
Here is my speed test
CPU Intel Core i5 2500k @ 4.8ghz
Motherboard Asrock z68 Extreme4 Gen3
Graphics MSI GTX 780 Lightning LE
Memory 8gb Corsair Vengeance DDR3
I usually get 53-55Mb/s down and 2-3Mb/s up on Virgin's 50Mb/s package.
My ping has been a bit off for a few weeks now, although I'm on WiFi which would affect it. But everything else is spot on.
