    NTL 10mb

    Any one on it ?

    whats it like ?

    any problems ?

I see that on the website it lists a faster upload speed, use that ?

Sorry for questions but am about to move into my gf's home with her family and we are looking moving into a bigger house not long after that and well, i allready pay £15pm for the connection so i don't see paying that towards it being a problem.

Its pretty good - but NTL:telewest kicks in February 2007 with new tarrifs and deals - it should be cheaper I am hearing - so careful what you commit to at this point
Please do not message me about Scan Free shipping, I no longer work for HEXUS.net

I'm on 10mb too, which I do use. I get a constant 1.17mb per sec, so am picking up a dvd sized file in around an hour. Have never had any downtime either, apart from overnight recently when we had really ****ty weather. Caps have never affected me either, even when I had large monthly transfers.

Can't fault them in my book, though I'd prefer not to pay £35 a month, but I guess that may change soon. Heard rumours of 20/1 being laucnhed in December too, but have no idea if that's true, what the pricing will be, and if it's capped or not.

you will see that a lot of people are not happy with Blueyonder/telewest/NTL due to speed issues etc

Think NTL and Blueyonder are one of the few companies that dont put limits and shaping on.

ADSL is pretty bad for that, noticed it when i was searching for broadband for a good mate.

Im not a fan boi honest... Saying ADSL just makes me feel dirty inside...
