Wow... I wish that guy had done it with only a single GTX because so few people will run them in SLi at first, it seems kind of a waste...
Overall though, I'm not to impressed by that.
I was hoping Crysis would finally be playable at Very High @ 1920 x 1200
I hope ****ty drivers are to blame for the poor performance...
ironicly i heard its the cpu thats the cause of the poor performance and thats a bloody top of the line QUAD CORE!!!!
looks liek nehalem is needed plus SLI at that res dont make much of a difference to a single card
I would love to believe that the card is being bottlenecked by the CPU but until there are some proper tests that we can cross-reference, I will take that opinion with a rather large pinch of salt.
Should be a few more days hopefully.

monday i heard the NDA is lifted.
Not very long to wait then ^^
Does that mean pre-orders will start Monday?
For a start, it happens when one company has an advance in which a technological advantage allows them to cut costs, under the competition and take market share. AMD did it with the Athlon XPs. And who's behind ATI? Oh yeah.
I'm not saying this will happen. Just that, if the numbers permit, it might.
Don't forget that maximum profit isn't necessarily achieved by highest price. If you can increase volumes significantly at a lower price, then low margin, high volume can be more profitable than high margin, low volume especially if your competitors can't respond.
3d mark is crap for measuring graphics power for today's games. I get less than 9000 marks but I can run CoD4 with setting maxed and Crysis on medium... both at 1920x1200... It has become more of a system benchmark than a gaming benchmark. I am pretty sure a higher scoring 8800gt would struggle more that that resolution than my system.
I just want them to hurry up and sell me one!
I'm waiting on them so I can build my system and it's driving me crazy...
I've got all the other parts stacked up around me and Im itching to get building...
more benches
doesnt looke that hot to me. infact it looks like a refresh unless the cpu realy is holding this baby back
