    Re: Show Us Your Workspace/Desk

managed to get some pictures today, got a new desk a few weeks ago and looks well nice imo.

Desk cost me £50 and its a morgan one from argos, was planning on buuilding one but the price would be around £80 after buyign the legs and the board would of been about half the thickness of this. Great value .

This is a chair from staples for only £30 , "entry managers chair" the quality is good and its comfy.

    Re: Show Us Your Workspace/Desk

I thought I would share with you where I have been living for the last 10 months (with still another 7 months to go!). This is my desk space. Plenty of room, but lack of plug sockets, thus the 2 power splitters on the notice board. Since it gets inspected every week, I have to at least look like I'm tidying all the wires up!

And here is a shot of the room. Well one half of it. It's symetrical, so there's 4 bedspaces in total, although there's only 3 of us in this room, so we've dismantled the spare bed, stuck a couple of beer fridges under the desk and put a kettle and our breakfast stuff in it for our "breakfast bar" area.

Yes, the guy next to me has Transformers bedding and a Hello Kitty toy! His other bedding is pink incidently...

    Re: Show Us Your Workspace/Desk

Yeah, that can be a problem! But there are 2 single man rooms in the block that are empty for such occasions. Since most people now have long-term GFs or are married, it tends not to happen that often.

    Re: Show Us Your Workspace/Desk

We are allowed beer and wine in the block, but not spirits. When we get inspected, they are not allowed to look in lockers unless they get permission (we are at lessons when they do go round). The padlocks just reinforce that rule!

I'm wondering if there is some kind of conspiracy between Barclaycard and whoever made your microphone. That looks like too much of a coincidental fit...

Ok time to post my desk.

My desk! My Dell 2408WFP on the left there.

Closeup on the left of my desk showing my Logitech G51 sub and Antec 1200.

Closeup of my touchscreen mini monitor

    Closeup of Razer Lycosa Keyboard.

Closeup of the Antec 1200 - Inside is a Q6600, DFI Lanparty and an HD4870 + extra lights and an Enermax MODU+82

EDIT: ****, my bad for the huge images - I thought they would shrink themselves....

If you lived near by id be more than happy, when i left school i was trained in the aerospace and military weapons industry so i have a bit of experience with it (long time ago now though, but still keep my hand in). Its not as good as i would like to be honest and would like some way of tidying up the sata cables but they are so dam awkward to work with.
