anyone? planning to buy a.s.a.p
thanks
You can download the soundcard drivers from the manufacturers website
There isn't a huge difference between 7800gt and 7900gt.
So it really comes down to price.
I would go for the 7900gt though, as rad said there isn't a huge difference between them, in performance and price...but go for the best one!
Lol, i do have a 7800gt but i can sell if for the same price i bought it and see when the msi ones are in stock at scan.
thanks
James
If you already have a 7800gt, then I don't know whether if it is worth the trouble.
However, on the other hand if you have read some review that says the MSI brand overclock really well then maybe it might be worth considering.
In the long run though I don't think it is worth the hassle, you will probably do another upgrade before your graphics card becomes the bottleneck in your system.
rad
ok, ill most probs keep the 7800gt. Im going to wait a month before i buy my new computer. Just wondering when the AMD prices will drop? Might even be able to get two gcards by then?
thanks
James

I can fix your sound problems, i have the same card. It REQUIRES the drivers for you to get sound, the XP ones do not work. The card is old.
go to Ludicrous Link and accept the statement, unblock the security blockers as prompted.

However if you can't wait any longer, then go for it.
