    cool

Being a warrior myself, me and the other warriors in the guild took a while to get to the standards that were needed for BWL, pretty much everyother class in bwl can slack a bit. I like in Naxx how they have made other classes, mainly priests do a bit more work

Good Luck with her, nature and fire pots helped a lot.

From your text I assume you are alliance, having played in BWL and been on 90% of the guilds first kills there I am a bit disapointed to think that BWL is a tank only instance. rest assured my guild have completed AQ40 and are progressing well in Naxx, but heres the troubles we faces in BWL at the time of progression :-

How about Razor - where the shaman kite is a pain in the ass, combined at the same time as the hunter / lock kite and druid sleep? (or do you have alliance easy mode?)

Maybe Vael - where rogues had to control agro hugely (or did u have paladin affro reduction, allowing the rogues to do 30% more damage than the horde rogues?)

Maybe Broodlord - where healers pull agro after a period of time, mages and rogues too (again, paladin affro buff?) or maybe when he did a 5k cleave, where u had Kings to add the huge amount of HP to tanks to cover it?

Maybe Firemaw - Rogues constatly running in and out, focused on their gameplay and LOS moving?

Chromagus - Constant decursing by shamans, druids, priests (or did u have paladin easy mode?), tranquing for a 20 minute duration from hunters, rogues running in and out of LOS to avoid his current misschiefs

Nefarion - All classes performing to their upmost to produce the required dps to kill phase 1. Everyone being on top of their game to avoid fears in P2 (or did u have easy mode with fear ward?)

And yes - i am biased against alliance, if u havent guessed

Meet madox - 60 shaman, umbrage

Nib I am Horde UD Warrior, check the avatar and I argree Alliance have it easier.

I still belive the class with the most work to do in BWL is warriors, maybe I said this as we never really had many problems in BWL, apart from Warrior aggro swapping/taunting issues. After all, every boss except Razor needs extra Warrior effort, Vael, Broodlord, Firemaw, Ebonroc, Flamegor, Maggus (if Time Lapse is one of the breaths) and Nef for P1, keeping all the mobs tight for AE, when the fears hit in P2, having 2 OT's taking in turns bearking fears and when P3 lands SW and AE taunting the new adds, again to keep them tight for AW.

Looking back to when we first started BWL (a long time ago now) if was a huge change in play style from MC and at the time it just seems that warriors were given 90% of the extra work. I play in the guild with my brother who is a priest and even he agree's that Naxx compared to BWL was a big shock for them.

Sorry if I offended anyone with my remarks, that was not what I intended. Just happy to see, from my pov, someone else getting something to do that can wipe the whole raid when they mess up, and not the Warriors getting moaned at for a change Of Course BWL is now just as easy as MC, we clear it in about two and half hours now, so it's not really hard work for anyone anymore.

    Anyways, sorry again.

Sorry Mads, while what you said was right I do think warriors got jibbed with a bit more work in bwl. The only time I can do any real slacking (poker anyone? ) is during the depression rooms while theres no orcs around The pin point accuracy some fights require bosses held in position to far out weights casters having to use 5 buttons instead of 2

But then I'm not a caster.

Why have shammies kite? No need....the easiest way (IMO) to do RG is to have warriors kite the dragonkin and everyone else DPS the orcs.

The shaman's kiting is the old way of doing it, before they changed the encounter, at least that's what I think he means. We use Druids for sleeping, locks for fearing and Hunters for kiting the dragoons (max of 12 at one time) and the rest of use DPS down the Mages and Legioneers.

Your talking racials, we are talking Pallys imo WOTF and Warstomp are PVP racials anyway, the stun resist for orcs is nice for pve so some cases, although this is being taken down to 15% in BC, or so I read.

    Again swings + roundabouts here.

Sure Buff bot is lovely as for easy mode not 100% sure that its that true.

Any boss with Mass fear = Shaman in each group with tremor totem.
Any boss needing kiting shaman at 4 corners + earthbind totem.

Sure you don't get BoK, but Shamans add 1 spell reduction per group, WF totem , STR totem, for melee groups

Plus maybe you get the boss down to final few % of health and MT dies, Shaman = NUKE NUKE NUKE dead boss on final few % hehe.

Overall alliance have it easier, but not quite as 1 sided as i think you make it.

Easymode? Earthbind makes razor way easier for horde.

Both alliance and horde have their "easymode" fights. Viscidus for instance is so retardedly easy for horde compared to alliance it's not even funny.

Also if rogues have so many problems in BWL, why not swap the windfury totem for tranquil air?

We do now, but that was near enough imposible when we got the first kill on him, the legionnaires did so much more damage, and the spawns were more frequent.

    Fear ward anyone?

Grounding totem doesn't work on anything good, wow we get IMBA totems for groups that happen to have a shaman in... Where as alliance get BoK, BoM/BoW, and BoS/BoL on every player in the raid, and on top of that, BoM and BoW are better than the horde alternatives. Bring on TBC, where those 1-2% wipes are kills, and those damage spikes on the tanks are not insta-kills.
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

Think you over-estimate the number of dwarf priests. They're pretty rare. We often don't have any on raids, and at best we have 2. And fear ward has a 30 second cooldown.
