Yeah, I should probably work on the sharpening there.

Noo don't sharpen it more! It's plenty sharp enough for that kind of scene, and it's got a lovely warmth to it that sharpening might destroy.

I'm with kalniel - don't sharpen it any more. That softness gives it a nice mysterious dreamy quality which goes so well with those beautiful colours

Yeah, the security is stupid now too from what I believe it used to be like. It's not too far from Epsom station though, maybe a 15-20 min walk? And the access point we used was pretty good.... pm me if you want directions/further info.

Finally got some time, so I'm going through a lot of my shots creating final versions. Looking for some advice on this one. Firstly, I know it won't be to everyone's taste. But for those who might be interested, what do you like, and more importantly, what don't you like?

Finally got some time, so I'm going through a lot of my shots creating final versions. Looking for some advice on this one. Firstly, I know it won't be to everyone's taste. But for those who might be interested, what do you like, and more importantly, what don't you like?

I like the wide angle, I like the glow, I don't like the lone guy on the right.
It also feels little off-balance, I can't tell if it is level or not but it doesn't feel like it is.
Also crop a bit of the left side to get it centered (maybe).

There's lots to like about it, but I agree that the sloping horizons either side (presumably perspective distortion, but looks like barrel distortion) make it look a bit off balance. Slight overkill on the dodge/burning of the sky - might look fine on a full sized print of course.
