That picture is nice to look at if you start from the bottom and looks quite authentic, up until you get to the top of the tower and are then bombarded by modern day tech! I know it's not your fault! I just had to say!

I did take it myself, it was more the subject than the quality of the photo i was trying to emphasise.

Apologies for the harsh comments then nibbler - but if you took it, why was jonny posting it here? It looked like he was posting a photo from some random interwebs person in which case the question is what is he trying to show us? Now, *you* being in the right place to capture a comic moment is worthy of a pic and post, and that's cool, because suddenly there is a connection to the photo.

Totally agree, tbh it was only something I noticed when I did the PP in Elements. I saw the scene in a mobile snap whilst on my round, then dashed back before the light failed. I might have a go at editing out the modern crap. Mind you, I have to say sometimes I don't mind it - the image is the image.

i thought its pretty obvious what that pic wearing biker gear infront of a steering wheel is trying to show.

Now unless theirs a god given rule in this thread stating you are not allowed to post pics not owned by you then i will happily delete that post.

Like its been said before and even by u i think. a pic is not all about how sharp it is etc etc, its about the image itself and what its showing. Now all that went out the window as soon as you mentioned white balence, sharpness, contrast etc etc instead of looking at the pic understand it was a bit of a funny pic

I dunno if anyone's done this before, but they do it on a local forum I'm a member of. Basically a different photo is posted every day, it doesnt have to be by the same person, and it doesnt matter if 2 or more people post one, it's just a way that you can show off one of the best photos you've taken recently (it doesnt have to have been taken that day!)

Incidentally, you can post up to 3 photos in 1 post as long as they're within the forum boundaries.

and if you're going to post other peoples work, its common courtesy to give the photo their credit ie. Photo by: Name.

That looks like a car windscreen or window, but I wouldn't be so bold as to predict a make

Nope it was in our living room actually, on the inside strangely enough.
The room has no carpet, just floorboards, and a fireplace where the heat can escape so that in combination with the freezing glass on the windows and lots of condensation when the air cooled and the dew point was reached lead to this effect I guess. Reuploaded at a higher res.
