Well i did one 4 second exposure and one 1 second exposure they were identical.
nice i sat in a lightning cockpit a few years back, i should say tried to sit, i just about got in it - i wouldn't have been able to fly it. my legs are so big that the stick couldn't move, and i couldn't put my feet on the pedals because my legs are too long - i'm so wide that i just about got my arms in..
but thats nothing compared to the mini (original) i had as a loan car when my car was in the garage.. think high tower in the original Police Academy ..

Me and my Bro' are keen skywatchers..this is one we did a little while back..my Bro's work mainly though.

Horseheard Nebula in Orion..think it was a Canon 450D (attached to 6 inch mak telescope) and multiple stacked image.
Will post one of the moon we did this week later.

Nice! I've always been interested in trying that, but never had a clue about where to get inexpensive kit to start with (if that's even possible).
Thanks, yeah you're right..inexpensive kit and astronomy don't really marry up well.
I suppose if you already have a digital SLR you can pick up a decent scope for 100-200 quid second hand then you're laughing. As you probably know, the mount is equally important too so expense all 'mounts' up.

rugger, wonderful tuned afterburners I worked on the F14 and F5 in Saudi in early 80s, got close up and personal with quite a few birds back then
