Nice shot, you could probably have cropped even closer

Right my first contribution to this thread, here are my favourite 2. They were actually taken at an RSPB reserve, however my lowly 18-200 couldn't get close enough to capture any great shots of the birds (unlike the line of about 8 guys sat in the Kingfisher hide, all with their Nikon 500mm's ).

I was walking in a wildlife park the other day and I had to laugh when I saw one guy dressed head to toe in camouflage while the lady he was with was wearing a bright pink top and jeans. Some photographers take things very seriously, but apparently their partners do not.
I like your dragonfly shot.
not the weather for shooting aircraft @ 1/125

A dragonfly i photographed whilst in pennsylvania, just wish I could have got the abdomen in focus
its a shame about the angle, but the narrow DoF doesn't help with it..

Freeloaders at Sywell airshow - a CHARITY show! The bloke had already been chased off once by the fire truck.

Evening view from our bedroom window. As little PP as I could get away with.
Nice and smooth rox0r - did you need to use such a small aperture because the tree on the right was very close?

Something along those lines yes, I wanted the pylons to the left to be visible without losing the clarity of the sillouette on the big tree which is in our garden. I'd actually been fannying about doing some 'arty' sunset shots of the tree up close on the tripod in the garden and packed up for the day with the camera still on it as I went indoors and thought I'd shove it through one of the Velux windows upstairs before the last few minutes of light vanished altogether. Only had time for one or two shots so had to bounce the numbers that I figured would work.
