Does IS make a huge difference in terms of IQ and shutter speed?

I don't know really. Shooting at these speeds gives me sharper shots and more keepers, even at the expense of a full prop disc. Also, I find shooting into the sun as I often am at airshows, particularly Old Warden, makes the prop disappear althogether. So a slow shutter speed gives me nothing at all!Originally Posted by bobster

I've also just realised that chrome doesn't colour manage properly! So in firefox and IE my photo looks better, in chrome it looks bland.
