I went go-karting today. I set the camera up with some test shots of a stranger then handed the camera to a non-photog friend. After my 20 minute session I checked the 150+ photos he took. Somehow the lens had ended up on manual focus. Some of them were near enough in focus that they could be printed at 6x4 as a memento print, but there weren't really any keepers. That's the problem with wanting action shots of myself!
I haven't really used my new 7D properly yet, but I'm impressed with the results I got in the dark warehouse. This was shot at ISO 1600 and just had a little noise reduction applied.
As a side note, my best lap time today was 22.27s, and last time it was 23.5. Even the staff weren't beating my time today, so I don't think there's much room for improvement on that. Maybe if I lose a few stone I could get down to 22.0 .
Bit of facebook compression on that, don't have it on photobucket yet
Took this a little while ago, only got round to sorting it over the weekend...

Love that first shot there Butcher, it just needs a guy looking pensive on that little outcrop of rock.
..or a ninja waiting to pounce!
2nd is really pretty too, only get the scale of it when you see the road winding on the bottom left.

In shot 2 & 3 your WB is all sorts of wrong Josh.
I know LOL. 3rd shot is done on purpose. its shot outside in my garden so i added a bit of green to it so IMO 3rd shot is fine and what i wanted to achieve for that shot ie outdoor greenish tone.
2nd shot i agree. the WB was ruined and will edit it but tbh all 3 shots are snapshots.
